The Cornerstone website provides a wealth of information regarding current course topics, daily assignments, student scores and grading information, parent resources, and opportunities for extra credit. As parents, please pay special attention to the 'Documents' tab on your child's math page to access a class syllabus, parent letters for each chapter, class expectations and requirements, and other useful information. Our middle school uses the Holt Mathematics curriculum. Seventh graders complete their pre-Algebra with the 'Course 3' texts, and eighth graders receive a full year of Algebra. All students have online access to the textbooks used in class. In addition, the publisher's website contains fantastic lesson tutorials, quiz and test reviews, interactivities, and online mathematical tools. Please encourage your son or daughter to use these resources when needed to help them become pro-active, independent learners.
